It’s a decent place to eat. The food was very nice, fair portions. The price is a bit high but understandable because it’s downtown Chicago, I would say it’s nothing special. Service was quite slow and it was hard to get their attention but they had great attitude. The tables are small and not very comfortable. I would say the Pink Lady roll was the highlight of what we ordered.

Mmmmmm so so good! The sushi was very fresh, tasty, and the portions were a fair size. We both got lunch combos and I was very pleased with my dish, it hit all the right spots. I saw some complaints in other reviews regarding the price and the lunch prices were fair, however, I do think the average price for a dinner specialty roll was around $16 (something better than a California roll). The food came out super fast and the decor was very nice. It’s also right near Millennium Park so it’s very centrally located. I would definitely stop by again for a quick bite during lunch.

Nope…nice touch with the light soy but does not make up with the the unimpressive cutting skills considering it is a bowl of chirashi. Simply slice it thinner and broader and not chunky block. Disappointing as there are other decent options at this price point.

It’s become a tradition for my kid and I to grab a roll of sushi on our way out of the art institute, before hopping on the EL. The rolls are good and the price even better. The service has been also adequate and good every time.

I really liked the environment/aesthetic of the place, however the food did not match. The drinks were soooo strong, like I love a strong drink but these were practically just liquor. I won’t hold that against anyone though, however the sushi was not good. The cuts were extremely fishy, and before anyone says well it’s sushi what did you expect?, It was like a bad fishy. There was visible white layers on the salmon, and it was super chewy. I really like sushi and sashimi, however this was just not good. Rolls were not like good either they were very dry and some rice was crunchy. I wanted to like this place but unfortunately it was somewhat disappointing. Staff was super nice though, ambiance nice, everything else was great, just not the sushi unfortunately.

Not satisfied. Sushi is good. Chicken yakitori was covered in too much sauce to cover up it not being grilled. Beef terriyaki is lacking in flavor, again covered in sauce, beef has no sear. Servings were.good.
